Our Extensions
We choose Great Lengths hair extensions because they’re the best! They’re ethically-sourced through Temples in India, they’re used by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and the Kardashians and they’re the only hair extensions company with B Corps status. We’ll choose Keratin bonds or Tape-In extensions depending on your look, your lifestyle and your budget.
We also sell beautiful bespoke hand-tied wefts with the hair of your choice from Virgin Russian wefts, European wefts or Indian wefts. Call the salon to find out more.
Should I Have Hair Extensions?
For a full head of lovely voluminous locks, a little pop of colour or added va-va-voom, there really is nothing like hair extensions.
We have some guests who love wearing their extensions in extreme lengths for a wow factor, but the majority of guests visiting Rosser for hair extensions choose a more subtle look to enhance their own hair.
We’ll work with you to colour match your extensions to your hair and pride ourselves on being able to beautifully blend multiple shades or the most natural results.
As a hair loss salon, our specialists Beverley and Sarina can also help you to use extensions to create a thicker fringe area and add volume to the sides or back of your head.
Your Appointment
Each extensions service begins with a consultation where we’ll discuss the look you’d like to go for, your hair type and the type of method you’d be best suited to before colour matching your hair.
Your fitting appointment can vary in time depending on the type of bond. Tapes and wefts can typically take less than 60mins, which means you can head into Liverpool for hair extensions in your lunch break! Bonds will take longer.
Your extensions will then need to be blended into your natural hair and styled for a wow factor. During that time you’ll get a lesson in how to style them for yourself and, if you have Great Lengths bonds, you’ll leave with a free maintenance pack to help you look after them.
Then it’s time to let the compliments begin!

We have three different types of Great Length curl textures so you can choose the perfect extensions to complement your natural hair. We’re not afraid to shout about the fact the results of our curly hair extensions are STUNNING!
Donate Your Extensions to the Little Princess Trust
If you’ve not heard of the Little Princess Trust, it’s an awesome charity that turns dramatic haircuts into wigs for cancer patients.
And you can now donate your Great Lengths hair extensions to help the very worthwhile cause and literally change lives too.
When you have Great Lengths extensions that are 16″ or longer removed, we can send them off to be turned into wigs, which we think is a pretty amazing thing to do.
FAQS ABOUT GETTING HAIR EXTENSIONS IN LIVERPOOL
OUR CLIENTS LOVE THEIR GREAT LENGTHS
We offer all of the most popular, and most discreet type of hair extensions at our Liverpool salon. These are Keratin bonds, tapes, wefts, micro beads and nano beads.
We have a massive selection of shades from silver & grey fashion shades to ruby reds and everything in between. Our stylists can mix as many shades as we need to ensure we get the perfect blend for you.
Absolutely! Great Lengths are available in 3 different curl types to complement the texture of your own hair. These are available in the salon to analyse during your consultation
We use keratin bonds that are invisible in your hair. Depending on your hair type these bonds can be moulded to best suit your hair and can be cut to smaller sizes.
Different hair extensions are available in different lengths. Our stylist will help you decide which is best for you. Lengths start from as short as 8 inch up to 22 inch.
The price of your extensions will depend on the look you’d like to achieve, the type of bond (tapes or keratin bonds) and whether we use Great Lengths of London Lab hair extensions. Book in for a no-obligation consultation to discuss the costs of giving you the hair you’ve always dreamed of.
If you have tape-in hair extensions they will usually need to be removed after 4-6 weeks, but if you have cared for them well, we will be able to re-tape and re apply them.
Bonded hair extensions will be removed as part of your service. They can last for up to six months with great aftercare. This is great for those pushed for time who appreciate minimal visits to the salon. Great Lengths advise getting a new set of hair extensions each time, as re-bonding doesn’t last as long and bonds are not as discreet.
Weft hair extensions such as LA weave method and micro beaded will need to be taken out and refitted after approximately 4-7 weeks, depending on length-weight-hair type etc.
Micro beads and Nano bead individual extensions normally need to be removed and re applied after about 8-12 weeks. Again this varies based on the length, hair type and you natural hair.
Tape-in extensions are super speedy to apply, so you can get extensions in your lunch hour!
We can add single or double tapes to your hair to add volume, length or colour and there are even balayage effects available!.
Our medical grade tapes fit flat to your hair for undetectable results. You’ll need to remove them every 6 weeks, but we can reapply them with new tapes.
We fit hair extensions for people of all ages and with very different hair lengths and ideas.
We are a go-to hair extensions salon for clients in Liverpool, but we’re proud of our reputation, which attracts hair extensions clients across the North West. We frequently fit hair extensions for clients from Wales, Chester, Manchester, Cheshire, Warrington and even further afield.
That will depend on the type of extensions you are having fitted. If you are having bonded and tape extensions you will need to wait at least 48 hours before having your hair coloured. If you choose weft in extensions, your hair can be coloured on the same day.
We give all of our hair extensions clients a lesson in how to style them and advice in how to maintain them and keep them in the best possible condition.
If you have Great Lengths bonds, you will also leave your fitting appointment with a Rosser Hairdressing maintenance pack.
Guests who have bonded extensions by Great Lengths and London Hair Lab are invited in for a free maintenance appointment 2-3 weeks after your extensions are fitted.
